I've not opened it to play with it as it is a Christmas gift, but I can see through the cellophane that the catches and latches are really well built, good quality fixings, but all rounded off so no caught fingers. The catches and latches are fixed on with screws that have caps, which are also smooth. Well thought out and should have loads of fun.
