One of the best known and loved sauropod dinosaurs, Diplodocus, lived
154,152 million years ago in the Late Jurassic era. It inhabited the area
now known as Mid,Western North America. Its name means double,beamed
reptile in reference to the double beamed chevron bones located in the
underside of the tail, which were then considered unique. Its extremely long
tail is thought to have been used as a whiplash and defense against such
predators such as Allosaurus and Ceratosaurus with whom it shared its world.
Species of Diplodocus ranged in size from 27 to 33m in length. A very
popular model since its first issue, CollectA has now decided to produce a
new colour scheme for its rearing diplodocus at the request of several fans.

Good quality and reasonable price. Bought several different ones, all of which we were pleased with. May look to purchase a bigger one when our Grandsons are a bit older.

My grandson hasn't been given it yet but he's really into dinosaurs, ssked for a diplodocus and we could only find the bigjigs one Experience with bigjigs was excellent!
Perfect realistic looking dinos
Bought for my nephew who is mad about dinos, He loves Dippy and always wanted one after seeing the skeleton on tour. These are nicely detailed, A decent size and have a great mix of poses. If your looking for some real looking dinosaurs then these are a great bet.
Great service, lovely toy
Needed to get a diplodocus last minute for my Dino mad boy who suddenly added it onto his Christmas list. It was despatched very the next day and delivered within two days. The toy itself is fab and he’s going to love it. Would def buy again from bigjigs.
