Noble and majestic, the Boulonnais is a French draft horse that can be traced back to the Crusades. Boulonnais horses were used as warhorses throughout the first and second world wars, which resulted in the breed dwindling and nearing extinction.

By nature, Boulonnais horses are hardy and powerful, but also gentle and friendly which makes them easy to train. This Boulonnais Mare model features the horse’s signature grey coat, which is where the breed gets its nickname ‘White Marble Horse’ from.
