Bigjigs Toys: A Year In Review 2025
Happy New Year, everyone and happy 2026! We hope you're enjoying the year so far. 2025 was a cracking year for us at Bigjigs Toys as we celebrated 40 years of play, welcomed Fiesta Crafts and became the official UK & Ireland distributor for 4M's iconic STEM toys. And between all the celebrations, we had time to launch some cracking new products, bringing joy to your homes for over 40 years now.
As we reflect on this milestone year, we'd like to thank every single one of you. From our wonderful customers to our staff, partners, friends and families, we'd like to say the biggest thank you for supporting us, whether you've been here for the full 40 years or have just joined us. Thanks a million. Now let's take a look at some of Bigjigs Toys' biggest highlights of 2025...
January- March 2025
40th Anniversary Celebrations Begin
We hit the big 40! 2025 marked a special milestone for Bigjigs Toys as we celebrated 40 years of creating timeless toys. Since launching in 1985, we have grown from a small garden shed operation into a leading name in traditional toys, with our ranges loved by families worldwide. In January, we kicked off the celebrations by announcing our launch of over 100 new toys throughout the year.
London Toy Fair
We love attending the London Toy Fair and have been showcasing our toys at this exciting event for over 3 decades now! For Toy Fair 2025 in January, we gave people a sneak peek at our new Montessori range, launched some adorable Simply Scandi plush toys & unveiled our massive Monster Train Set from Bigjigs Rail. We also displayed our calming Jigsaw puzzles from The House of Puzzles, favourites from Green Toys & Tiger Tribe, along with the TikTok sensation- NeeDoh fidget toys.
We were delighted to get a big 40th birthday welcome from everyone at the London Toy Fair, toasting to our hard work over the many years!
Welcome, Fiesta Crafts!
In February 2025, Bigjigs Toys joyfully levelled up its play-time magic by bringing Fiesta Crafts into the family, which was big news for your playroom! Known for over 30 years of award-winning craft kits that spark imagination with everything from 3D masks and clay modelling to magnetic games and puppets, Fiesta Crafts fit beautifully with Bigjigs’ mission to encourage hands-on learning and creative thinking through play.
April- June 2025
New Outdoor Toys
April 2025 brought a breath of fresh air to the Bigjigs Toys lineup! Just as the days grew sunnier, Bigjigs Toys celebrated the launch of a brand-new range of kids’ garden and outdoor toys designed to get little explorers outside, getting curious and growing both body and mind. Introducing new favourites like the mud kitchen and mini garden wheelbarrow to the gardening caddy with pint-sized tools and a buzzing bug house perfect for tiny ecologists. Perfect for spring, these playful new additions are all about messy hands, muddy knees and big smiles in the backyard.
Toymaster 2025
May saw Bigjigs Toys heading to the Toymaster Fair with suitcases full of imagination and some very tasty-looking pretend play favourites! We were thrilled to showcase our much-loved role play food, including the classic Fish & Chips set and our crowd-pleasing Burger & Fries Set, both designed to spark storytelling and sharing. Alongside these familiar favourites, we also introduced exciting new additions from Tiger Tribe, with their vibrant Claytopia craft sets proving a hit with little makers and big kids.
From serving up pretend dinners to squishing, shaping and creating, our Toymaster showcase gave us a wonderful opportunity to share what’s new for families and retailers alike in 2025.
London Toys
Spring/Summer 2025 was extra special at Bigjigs Toys with the launch of our London range, bringing the iconic spirit of the capital right into little hands and playrooms. This charming collection captures beloved London sights and stories in beautifully crafted toys. We introduced everything from classic red buses, black cabs and pull-along tube trains to engaging games and jigsaw puzzles inspired by famous landmarks like Big Ben and the London Eye.
Every piece in the range invites children to invent their own city adventures, build stories around favourite places and characters, and explore the magic of London through play.
July- September
4M distribution
In August 2025, Bigjigs Toys took an exciting leap forward by becoming the official UK and Ireland distributor for 4M, the globally loved brand behind hands-on STEM and STEAM toys that make learning feel like playtime magic. 4M are famous for everything from erupting science kits and crystal-growing experiments to creative engineering projects and robotics that get little minds buzzing with imaginative discovery. Autumn Fair
Another season, another show! September saw us exhibiting at Autumn Fair where we highlighted our ever-popular play food, from fun fruit-cutting sets that encourage role play and fine motor skills to engaging fidget toys from NeeDoh that keep little hands busy and minds focused. Alongside these, Tiger Tribe’s Claytopia collection proved a hit (especially with our sales team!)
Bigjigs Toys Anniversary
In mid-2025, we celebrated our big birthday, marking an incredible 40 years since Peter and Liz Ireland first started Bigjigs Toys. What began in 1985 as a small operation in a garden shed, where our very first wooden puzzles were hand-crafted from floorboard has grown into a thriving global family. We spent this milestone reflecting on the chemistry and heart that make our company unique, celebrating the journey from those early days in Covent Garden to our current home on the Kent coast.
While we’ve expanded significantly, our anniversary was a beautiful reminder that we remain a family-centric business at our core, dedicated to the same values of quality, creativity, and sustainability that have defined us for four decades.

October-November
Black Friday Sales
Our Black Friday 2025 event was a record-breaking success, designed to bring maximum value to families during our landmark 40th year. We pulled out all the stops with massive savings of up to 75% off, featuring standout deals like the Drilling Train and our Natural Wooden Stacking Rainbow. To give parents even more flexibility, we introduced a Mix & Match offer, where shoppers could take an extra 10% off when picking any three items from our festive selection.
We also loved seeing the excitement around our exclusive "Free Gift with Purchase" rewards, which included favourites like our Rocking Avocado and Mini Silk Crayons. It was a fantastic opportunity to help our customers stock up on high-quality, sustainable wooden toys just in time for the holiday season.
Progressive Preschool Awards Finalists
We headed to the Progressive Preschool Awards in November 2025 as double finalists! It’s a huge honor to have our hard work recognised by industry experts, especially for the things we care about most: our planet and your child's development. Our colourful Casserole Dish Set was a finalist for the Eco Award, celebrating our mission to create sustainable toys that look great and do good. Meanwhile, our Montessori Latches & Catches House was shortlisted for Best STEM/Educational Range, proving that toys can be both incredibly fun and a fantastic way to build those essential early-learning skills. We are so proud to bring home these nods of approval for the toys you and your little ones love!
