African Elephant

African elephants are the largest land animals on Earth. Their herds wander through 37 African countries. Currently, there are 415,000 African elephants in the wild.

The shoulder height of a fully grown elephant is 11 feet, and they weigh in at a gigantic 6 tons. African elephants measure around 19-24 feet in length. The ears of African elephants are much bigger than Asian elephants and are described as resembling the African continent.
