Allosaurus, the name meaning different lizard. Allosaurus was a carnivorous theropod dinosaur that lived 155 to 145 million years ago during the late Jurassic period in north America, Portugal and possibly Tanzania. It is one of the best known dinosaurs and was the apex predator of its domain preying on all species. Specimens range between 7.5 and 9.7 metres in length. It possessed strong arms for holding prey and could open its mouth extremely wide to aid with attack. It was for many years known by the name of Antrodemus. the new model replaces Collect As original and now outdated model in the popular range.
